Iranian Artists Forum observing Laylat al-Qadr

Iranian Artists Forum has observed first Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr) with artists and other people taking part in numbers.

The forum's Garden of Art will also host a special program titled 'Yalday-e Asemani' to observe Laylat al-Qadr for two other nights

'Yalday-e Asemani' is loosely translated as celestial Yalda (longest night).

The first night of the program was held on Sunday, coinciding Ramadan 19 which is the anniversary of Imam Ali (AS), the first Muslim Imam, being hit by a poisoned sword.

The event started after reciting verses of the holy Quran followed by eulogies of Imam Ali (AS).

'Yalday-e Asemani' will also be held on the coming Tuesday and Thursday, coinciding Ramadan 21 and 23.
